Configure Outlook with Infomaniak: Complete 2026 Guide

You've just created your Infomaniak Mail account and want to configure it in Microsoft Outlook? This step-by-step guide covers all Outlook versions (2019, 2021, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com) and gets you up and running in under 10 minutes.

Before You Start

You will need your Infomaniak email address and password (or application password if you have 2FA enabled). See our article on Infomaniak application passwords if needed.

Infomaniak Settings for Outlook

Method 1: Automatic Configuration (Recommended)

  1. Open Outlook → File → Add Account
  2. Enter your Infomaniak email address
  3. Click Connect
  4. Outlook will automatically detect IMAP settings
  5. Enter your password (or application password)
  6. Click Connect

If automatic configuration fails, proceed to manual setup.

Method 2: Manual IMAP Configuration

  1. Open Outlook → File → Add Account
  2. Enter your email, then click Advanced options
  3. Check Let me set up my account manually, then Connect
  4. Choose IMAP
  5. Fill in the settings:

Sync Infomaniak Calendar with Outlook

The Infomaniak calendar uses CalDAV. Configuration in Outlook requires the free CalDAV Synchronizer plugin:

  1. Download CalDAV Synchronizer from caldavsynchronizer.org
  2. Install the plugin and restart Outlook
  3. In Outlook → CalDAV Synchronizer → Synchronization Profiles
  4. Click + to add a profile
  5. Choose Infomaniak from the pre-configured server list
  6. Enter your Infomaniak credentials
  7. Select your calendar and click OK

Outlook Mobile (iOS/Android)

  1. Open Outlook → Settings → Add Account
  2. Choose Add Email Account
  3. Enter your Infomaniak email address
  4. Outlook will automatically detect IMAP settings
  5. Enter your password

Outlook Mobile and Calendar

The Outlook Mobile app does not natively sync CalDAV calendars from Infomaniak. Use the native iOS/Android calendar app configured with CalDAV, or the kSuite app from Infomaniak to have both email and calendar synced.

Troubleshooting

Outlook keeps asking for password

If you have 2FA enabled on your Infomaniak account, you must use an application password, not your regular password. See our guide on application passwords.

Error "Cannot connect to server"

  • Check that ports 993 (IMAP) and 465 (SMTP) are not blocked by your firewall
  • Ensure encryption is set to SSL/TLS
  • Verify your email address is correctly spelled
